Ragini MMS 2 is set to hit the theaters next year in March and will star Sunny Leone. It is to be a sequel to the original Ragini MMS, and reportedly will be “scarier and steamier”. When Ragini MMS released in 2011 it was considered something of a novelty in Bollywood – firstly the horror-thriller genre itself is not common in Bollywood; and this was a genuinely scary film and add to this the film explored the real story of Delhi based Deepika’s MMS case. The dim lighting, grainy video and handheld camera effect – again very unusual for Bollywood, created even more of an impact. Made on a shoestring budget of Rs 1.3 crore, the movie was a surprise hit raking in over 9 crores at the box office and was described as “daunting, imaginative, unconventional, terrifying” .

While Ragini MMS was supposed to have been India’s first sensual paranormal thriller, Ragini MMS 2 is to be India’s first Erotica Horror film – which explains the casting of Sunny Leone in the lead and the repeated punning on the word coming/cumming (where do you wanna cum –your place or mine and so on) on the posters and the Facebook photos of the film. The story will be a continuation from where the first film left off. This sequel is also to be based on a true story though the scale of the film will be bigger than the first one – full of sensuality and presumably several intimate scenes as suggested by the steamy shower scene in the trailer.

According to the Ragini MMS 2 website, Sunny Leone – the Indo-Canadian porn actress is to pay herself in the film. This is to be her second Bollywood outing after Jism 2. Also according to the movie website, the lead actress asked for and will be paid Rs 1 crore for her role in the film. Another USP of the film will be a liplock between the two female actors in the film – reportedly Sunny Leone will be seen to share an on- screen kiss with Sandhya Mridul. Earlier Neetu Chandra was to have done Mridul’s role; but when she refused to do the kiss with her co-star, gutsy Mridul was roped in as a replacement.

The Ramsay Brothers genre of films – with their laughable ‘special’ effects and tacky ‘monsters’ is a thing of the past. In a week of exchanges at the top of the table, Australia have taken back the No. 1 position in ICC ODI team rankings from India after defeating England in the 5th and final ODI at Adelaide, winning the series 4-1.

England, needing 218 to win, folded out for 212 after a dramatic collapse at the end of their innings.

With 15 overs left in the game, England were on course for a win, needing only 70 runs and with 7 wickets still in hand. However, a brace from James Faulkner, accounting for well set Joe Root and Eoin Morgan, started a slide for England.

James Faulkner and Clint McKay kept it tight in the end, giving little room to any of the late hitters. Ravi Bopara, who remained defiant despite watching the batting collapse at the other end, was victim of a very fortuitous stumping from Matthew Wade, and was out by a mere frame with England just 9 runs away from the target.

Some mindless running and loose shots cost England the match and made Australia the No. 1 ODI team in the world after their reign earlier this week following India’s 2nd consecutive loss in New Zealand, had lasted just over two days, with the Perth loss putting them back at No.2.

Earlier, Australia too struggled on a sluggish wicket, and were guilty of throwing away their wickets against a disciplined England attack. Only a balanced innings from George Bailey pushed them to 217, which turned out to be enough in the end.

மரணம் குறித்த பயம் சரியானது தானா? மரண அனுபவங்கள் எப்படி இருக்கும்?  இது குறித்து அமெரிக்காவை சேர்ந்த ஒரு செவிலியர் ஒருவர் தான் பார்த்த மரணங்கள் குறித்து வெளியிட்டிருக்கும் அனுபவங்கள் குறித்து ஒரு புதிய புத்தகம் எழுதி உள்ளார். 

மனிதனில் மரணம் மற்றும் இறுதி தீர்ப்பு நாட்கள் மற்றும் அப்போது நிகழ இருக்கும் செயல்கள் குறித்து பல மத நூல்களில் காணப்படுகின்றன. ஆனால் மரணம் எவ்வாறு இருக்கும் அதற்கு பிறகு என்ன நடக்கும் என்பது குறித்து அனுபவப்பூர்வமான தகவல்களோ குறிப்புகளோ எந்த நூல்களிலும் விரிவாக எழுதப்படவில்லை. 

அமெரிக்க செவிலியர் எழுதிய புத்தகத்தில் கூறி இருப்பதாவது:- 

சிகிச்சை பெற்று வரும் நோயாளிகள் குணம் அடைந்து வரும் போது நான் ஒரு செவிலியர் என்ற முறையில் மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சி அடைவேன். நான் எனது பணியின் போது மரண நிலையில் என்ன நடக்கும் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளும் வகையில் ஒரு நிகழ்ச்சியை சந்தித்தேன். டாம் கென்னார்ட் எனும் 60 வயது புற்று நோயாளி அறுவை சிகிச்சை முடித்து தீவிர சிகிச்சை பிரிவில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தார். சில வாரங்கள் தீவிர சிகிச்சை பிரிவில் இருந்த அவர் படுக்கையில் இருந்து எழுந்து நாற்காலியில் அமரும் அளவிற்கு குணம் பெற்று இருந்தார். 

இந்த நிலையில் திடீரென அவர் நினைவிழந்து விழுந்தார். அவரது உடல் குளிர்ந்தது. எனது எந்த ஒரு கேள்விக்கும் அவர் பதில் சொல்லவில்லை. நான் அவரது கைவிரல் நகங்களில் பேனா முனையினால் குத்தி வலி உணர்வை ஏற்படுத்திய போதிலும் அவரது உடல் சிறிதும் அசையவில்லை. வெகுவேகமாக அவரது தோல் ஈரம் ஆனது, அவரது ஆக்சிஜன் அளவு குறைந்து இரத்த அழுத்தம் சரிந்தது. அவரது நிலைமை மிகவும் மோசமான கட்டத்தை அடைந்ததற்கு தெளிவான அடையாளங்கள் தெரிய ஆரம்பித்தன. நான் உடனடியாக அவருக்கு கூடுதல் ஆக்சிஜன் கொடுத்தபின், தீவிர சிகிச்சை பிரிவில் உள்ள மற்ற செவிலியர்கள் உதவியுடன் அவரது படுக்கையில் அவரை கிடத்தினோம். 

மருத்துவருக்கு தகவல் கொடுத்த பின்பு மருத்துவரும் மேலும் ஒரு மருத்துவ நிபுணரும் அங்கு வரும் வரையிலும் டாம் முற்றிலும் நினைவு இழந்த நிலையில் தான் இருந்தார். அடுத்த மூன்று மணி நேரத்திற்கு டாமிற்கு நினைவு திரும்பவில்லை. 

பின்னர் நினைவு திரும்பிய டாம் நினைவிழந்து கிடந்த அந்த மூன்று மணி நேரத்தில் அவருக்கு நேர்ந்ததாக கூறிய அனுபவங்களை கேட்ட போது நான் மிகுந்த ஆச்சரியம் அடைந்தேன். அவர் மூன்று மணி நேரத்திற்குள் வேறு ஒரு உலகிற்கு பயணம் சென்று வந்ததாக தெரிவித்தார். முதலில் படுக்கையில் இருந்து மிதந்து எழுந்து அறையின் உச்சிக்கு சென்றதாகவும் அங்கிருந்து தனது உடல் படுக்கையின் மேல் கிடந்ததைக் கண்டதாகவும் அது ஒரு அழகான, அமைதியான, வலியில்லாத அனுபவமாக இருந்ததாகவும் தெரிவித்தார். அடுத்த நொடியே மருத்துவமனையின் அறையில் இருந்து மறைந்து இளஞ்சிவப்பு நிற அறை ஒன்றில் நுழைந்ததாக அவர் தெரிவித்தார். 

அங்கு ஒழுங்கற்ற கருமையான முடியும் அழகான கண்களையும் கொண்ட ஒருவரை கண்டதாகவும் அவர் அருகில் அவரது தந்தை நின்றிருந்ததாகவும் தெரிவித்தார். டாம் தனது உணர்வுகளால் தனது தந்தையுடன் பேசியதாகவும் அதன் பின் ஏதோ ஒன்று அவரை தொட்டதை உணர்ந்ததாகவும் கூறினார். அடுத்த கணமே மருத்துவமனை அறையின் உச்சிக்கு திரும்பியதாகவும் அங்கிருந்து என்னையும் மருத்துவரையும் கண்டதாகவும் கூறினார். 

அப்போது நான் லாலிபாப் வடிவிலான ஒரு கருவியைக் கொண்டு அவரது வாய் பகுதியை சுத்தம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்ததாக பின்னர் அவர் தெரிவித்தார். மேலும் அறையின் திரைச்சீலை அருகில் ஒரு பெண்ணை அவர் கண்டதாகவும் அப்பெண் அவரது நாடித்துடிப்பை சோதனை செய்து கொண்டு இருந்ததாகவும் தெரிவித்தார். 

டாம் நினைவிழுந்து படுக்கையில் இருந்த அந்த தருணங்களில் நடந்ததாக கூறிய அனைத்தும் நூறு சதவீதம் சரியாக இருந்தது. அச்சமயத்தில் நான் ஈரமான அவரது வாய் பகுதியை துடைத்துக்கொண்டு இருந்தேன். திரைசீலையின் அருகில் மருத்துவ நிபுணரும் பிசியோதெரபி மருத்துவரும் நின்றிருந்தனர். இவை அனைத்தும் நடந்தேரிய அந்த நேரத்தில் ஒழுங்கற்ற கருமையான முடியும் அழகான கண்களுடனும் கூடிய அந்த ஒருவர் அவரை திரும்ப போக சொன்னதாகவும் அதன் பின் அவர் மிதந்து வந்து அவரது உடலுக்கு திரும்பியதாகவும் டாம் கூறினார். 

மேற்கண்ட இந்த அனுபவங்கள் உட்பட மேலும் பலரது மரண அனுபவங்களை செவிலியர் தனது புத்தகத்தில் விவரித்துள்ளார்.
